Sustainable building shell

Traditional windows

Oskomera has developed additions to historic window frames that maintain the appearance of the wall and also meet the requirements of the Building Decree and the demands in terms of modern comfort.

Second skin modular facade

Oskomera has a wealth of knowledge in the field of second skin walls, and the modular construction of these walls in particular. Three concepts have been developed that can serve as a point of departure in the development of a custom-made solution.

Wall box (under development)

Walls and installation are becoming increasingly integrated. This integration offers the user opportunities to improve his/her immediate working environment. The environmental load can be reduced simultaneously by affecting the CO2 emissions.

DRL-CW60 high insulation (under development)

DRL Benelux will shortly be launching a new DRL wall profile with improved insulation. The system is suitable for the application of triple glazing.

Fire-resistant DRL curtain wall with XXL glazing

A joint development by three partners, Vetrotech, Reynaers and Oskomera, has produced a spectacular result, namely a 30-minute fire-resistant DRL curtain wall in the classes EW30 and EI30 in accordance with the latest European curtain wall standard EN 1364-3.

Oskomera TKI 252

The Oskomera TKI 252 curtain wall system is now also available in a burglary-resistant version. This means that the system easily meets the conditions for class 2 of NEN 5096. The system is machined in the MKF joint venture, in which twenty German and Dutch facade builders participate.

Oskomera TKI 755 fire-resistant

Europe’s best insulating system, Oskomera TKI 755 HI+, is as of now also available in a fire-resistant edition. Invisible protection against fire can impose major surplus value in those projects where only a small portion of the façade has to be fire-resistant. During a fire test, it was proven that the two prototypes of Oskomera TKI755 could easily keep the fire from spreading.

Fire-resistant sliding door

Oskomera Group has developed a two-winged automatic sliding door with side lights and top panel and tested it in accordance with the latest European standard NEN-EN 1634-1:2001, which is the successor to NEN 6069.

Pro Force

Pro-Force stands for windows, curtain walls and glass roofs that offer protection against exterior explosions, such as due to terrorist attacks with a car bomb. The protective measures are invisible and the products offer all of the comfort that may be expected from a modern facade product.

Floor connection with guaranteed 2 hour fire resistance

A special fire test revealed that a connection detail between wall and floor can achieve a classification of EI120, or two hours of fire resistance in terms of the criteria of flame density and temperature increase. The core behind this development is the CP 672 Speed spray, the Hilti CP672, which forms a flexible gas-tight connection. The Oskomera Group R&D department was closely involved with this development.
